If you’re anything like me and obsessed with accessories, you’ll have a massive thing for watches. My idea of a perfect casual outfit is nothing more than a simple tee, jeans, loafers tied together with some killer accessories.

In the past, I’ve had my fair share of watches. From high street brands such as Topshop and Asos, to more special designers like Michael Kors and DKNY. Although they are different designers and have varied slightly in colour and style, there has always been one underlying feature – metal. As nice as they all are, I’m always looking for something new and different to try.

That’s why I was so excited when I was approached by JORD watches – a brand that is totally unique and eye catching. The premise of the company is to use 100% natural wood to craft the timepieces, making the final designs quality and style packed.

The first thing that stands out about the product is the impressive, luxury packaging. The solid wooden box features lovely details such as the brands inscriptions, a small drawer and cleverly placed magnets sealing the watch inside.

The watch itself is much lighter than I anticipated and while I usually like the feel of heavier watches, the weight is perfect for the material. The wood on the strap is stunning. Every link is different due to the patterns in the wood. I chose  the Frankie 35 Series in Zebrawood (link below). The navy face definitely stands out against the light wooden grain and is unlike any other watch I’ve ever seen.

I have to say, I am obsessed with this watch and have worn it nearly every day since receiving it. Can you imagine how stunning this will look in the summer?!
