This week, I had was lucky enough to be invited to Zuso’s exclusive VIP launch party at The Old Blind School on Tuesday 27th October in celebration of their new autumn collection.
Upon entering The Old Blind School (a fairly new eatery I have been wanting to check out for a while now), a sense of stylish chic set in while most of the fashionistas in Liverpool loitered, waiting for the all-important catwalk.
Zuso are a new online boutique in Liverpool, boasting a fabulous range of fashion labels from around the globe including Neon Rose, Ginger Fizz and my personal favourite, Lavish Alice.
Having been ushered into the event, I found myself being greeted with some beautiful cocktails, and some equally beautiful Zuso cupcakes as I strole around, such a lovely touch to the evening. The music was great and energetic, as was the host for the evening, Ellie Phillips of Juice FM/The Guide.
Some great displays where also evident, allowing us to check out the new seasons clothing, and even purchase whatever we took a liking for that evening.
As the catwalk erupts and the models strut past, the atmosphere was cozy to say the least, due to the sheer volume of people at the event. The clothes looked beautiful on the catwalk, particularly the more jewelled/detailed garments that caught the lights from the cameras. After a few minutes of various designs, the show was over, and the guests resumed as normal, chatting and sampling products.
As my time at the Zuso launch came to an end and I strolled out with my fabulous fuchsia gift bag*, it felt like the night was just beginning for the guests remaining as the DJ set was in full flow, much like the drinks!
All in all, the Zuso launch was a very unique, fun night that mimics the style of the clothes showcased. I certainly enjoyed checking out the garments that where displayed in the showroom and definitely have my eye on a few pieces already!
